One thing about Robinhood, it's woefully slow and offers zero resources. But, try it, put $100 bucks in there, buy something you know, not something that's cheap, and see where it goes in 6 months. Unless you want to simulate the feel of gambling, simply investing your money into a company (or two or three) won't really teach you much.
