All campgrounds are primitive (no hookups, no showers). Group sites and half the camp sites in the South Unit are available by reservation. The rest are first come, first served. Campground amenities include: 38 camping sites, picnic tables, fire rings, a hand pump offering potable water, large pavilion, hitch rails, and open spaces for potable corrals. This campground operates under a Pack-it-In-Pack-it-out-policy. The CCC campground is an excellent base camp while visiting the nearby Theodore Roosevelt National Park.
